Bilik

Bilik zucchini is an early-maturing variety with a technical maturity period of about 30 days and a fruiting period up to 62 days. The fruits are cylindrical, pumpkin-type, 15-19 cm long and 5-7 cm in diameter, weighing approximately 350 grams. The main skin color is white, which turns creamy at biological maturity. The flesh is tender, making it attractive for fresh and canned use.

The seeds of the Bilik variety are medium-sized, light-cream colored with a rim and oval-shaped. The weight of 1000 seeds ranges from 110 to 140 grams. The variety is characterized by high seed productivity and is included in the State Register of Plant Varieties of Ukraine, as well as the National Database of the Ukrainian Genebank. The yield reaches about 43 tons of marketable fruits per hectare.

Bilik zucchini has moderate resistance to powdery mildew and viral diseases, enhancing its reliability in cultivation. The variety is recommended for cultivation in Steppe, Forest-Steppe, and Polissia zones. Due to its good transportability and universal use, it is suitable for both fresh consumption and canning.
