VIVARA

Vivara Strawberry — a new remontant variety of Italian selection CIV, suitable for cultivation both in open ground and in greenhouses, as well as by the low-volume hydroponic method. The variety is characterized by neutral light duration, ensuring cyclic fruiting with new flower formation every 5-6 weeks and allowing harvesting from late May until frost. Plants are medium-height, 20-25 cm tall, with dark green, large leaves and low suckering. Black agrofabric is recommended for protection against gray mold.

Vivara berries are large, weighing 30-40 grams, with symmetrical conical or wide-pyramidal shape and deep red skin. The flesh is firm, light red, juicy and aromatic, with a pleasant sweet taste and moderate sugar content. Fruits withstand long-distance transport well, making the variety promising for industrial cultivation and marketing.

The variety is distinguished by high yield — 1.3 to 2 kg of berries per plant per season, with fruiting occurring in three waves throughout the year. Vivara is resistant to powdery mildew and bacterial burns, has high frost tolerance, and tolerates climatic stress well. For successful cultivation, plants should be placed in sunny areas with light, fertile soils and provided with abundant watering during fruiting.
