ZOURALSKIY PROSTOR

Zouralskiy Prosthor is a variety of soft spring wheat developed by the agro-holding 'Kurgansemena' using varieties Kinel'skaya Niva, Bashkirskaya 20, Simbirka, Lutesens 655, and the breeding line 836/03. This mid-early variety is characterized by high resistance to lodging, heat, and drought, making it a reliable choice for cultivation in various climatic conditions. Zouralskiy Prosthor is recommended for cultivation in a wide range of regions, including the Perm Krai and Altai Krai, Kirov, Sverdlovsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Ulyanovsk, Orenburg, Kurgan, Chelyabinsk, Novosibirsk, Kemerovo, Tyumen, and Tomsk oblasts, as well as in the republics of Udmurtia, Mari El, Bashkortostan, and Chuvashia.

The variety has good baking qualities and is resistant to brown rust, which increases its value for agricultural production. The maximum yield recorded in 2022 in the Tomsk region was 78.6 centners per hectare, indicating the high productivity of the variety under optimal growing conditions.
