The variety belongs to medium-maturing types, features a medium-stature growth type, and possesses lodging resistance, which ensures crop stability and facilitates harvesting. ZIMTRA is characterized by medium winter hardiness and drought resistance at the level of the Don 93 variety, making it suitable for cultivation in various climatic conditions, including the Volgograd region.
ZIMTRA wheat is distinguished by its high baking qualities: the average protein content in the grain is 16.0%, gluten is 31.7%, flour strength reaches 362 units of activity, and the loaf volume from flour of this variety reaches 780 cm³. The overall quality rating of the bread on a 5-point scale is 5 points, indicating its value for the food industry and production of high-quality grain products.
