Wheat SAMARA 2

A Foundation of Breeding Excellence

The 'Samara 2' wheat variety is the result of extensive research by the 'SVC Yarovit' breeding team. In the current agricultural market of Ukraine, where climate volatility is a key profitability factor, this variety is positioned as a reliable solution for intensive farming practices. The variety was developed by a team of experts, including Maryna Tomina, Olha Chernyshova, and other lead breeders, ensuring genetic purity and strict adherence to national quality standards.

Key Agrobiological Traits

The core advantage of 'Samara 2' is its balanced vegetation period of 270–280 days. This growth dynamic allows the crop to efficiently utilize soil moisture from the autumn-winter period and maximize its spring potential. With a winter hardiness rating of 7 points, the variety is a robust choice for regions experiencing moderately harsh winters, ensuring high crop survival rates and predictable emergence after dormancy.

Strategic Integration

Developed by the 'SVC Yarovit' center, this variety is targeted at professional producers aiming for high-quality grain yields. 'Samara 2' demonstrates significant adaptability to various Ukrainian soil and climatic conditions, as confirmed by the patent holder. Incorporating 'Samara 2' into production cycles allows agronomists to optimize sowing schedules based on its predictable development cycle. The reputation of the Yarovit brand, built on rigorous seed stock management, makes this variety a valuable asset for agricultural enterprises focused on long-term productivity and yield stability.
