Centilivka is a medium-maturing winter wheat variety recommended for cultivation in the Polissia, forest-steppe, and steppe regions of Ukraine. Registered in the Ukrainian plant variety registry in 2011, it is characterized by high productivity with a potential yield of 7.0–7.5 t/ha. Plants have erect stems, height ranging from 85 to 100 cm, and pyramidal spikes. Grain is red, large, with 1000-grain weight from 38.0 to 40.5 g, belongs to the flour type, and contains high protein (12.5–14.0%) and crude gluten. The variety exhibits high resistance to lodging, shattering, and several diseases, including root rot, septoria, fusarium, brown rust, and powdery mildew. Due to good winter hardiness and moderate disease resistance, Centilivka is well-adapted to various climatic conditions of cultivation regions. It responds well to mineral nutrition, allowing yield increase with proper agronomic practices. Recommended seeding rate is 3.0 to 5.0 million viable seeds per hectare, depending on growing conditions. Seed class is elite, ensuring high-quality planting material. The variety is produced by the agrofirm «Kолос». Centilivka is suitable for cultivation both on large-scale farms and on private farms, providing stable and high grain yields with excellent technological properties.
