Wheat Centilivka

Yield Potential and Field Stability

The winter wheat variety 'Tsentylivka' by the breeding company 'Rasava' represents a robust solution for modern agriculture in Ukraine. Engineered for adaptability, this variety is designed to perform consistently across various soil types, helping farmers manage the risks associated with volatile climate conditions.

Agronomic Characteristics

The variety features a plant height of 80–100 cm. Its significant resistance to lodging is a major advantage, ensuring that the crop remains standing even under challenging harvest conditions. With a 1,000-grain weight of 35–40 grams, 'Tsentylivka' ensures a reliable and uniform grain structure, which is essential for maximizing market quality.

Disease Resistance Profile

One of the primary benefits of 'Tsentylivka' is its strong genetic resistance to common pathogens. This reduces the dependency on frequent fungicide applications. The variety shows strong resistance to:

• Brown rust;
• Septoria;
• Root rot.

Furthermore, it provides protection against mycosphaerella spot, fusarium, and powdery mildew. When grown under optimized agronomic practices, 'Tsentylivka' offers a yield potential of 7–8 tons per hectare, making it a highly competitive and profitable choice for high-intensity farming operations.
