Watermelon Troya F1

Watermelon Troya F1 is a super-early hybrid with a maturation period of 55-60 days, allowing for a harvest in a short time. The fruits have a round shape and uniform appearance with a characteristic striped coloration, consisting of alternating dark and light green stripes. The average weight of watermelons ranges from 5 to 9 kg, but under optimal growing conditions, the weight can reach 10-15 kg. The seeds are small and dark brown, which is a distinctive feature of this variety. The flesh has a high sugar content — about 11-12% — providing a sweet and rich flavor.

The Troya F1 hybrid is characterized by a high rate of maturation and vigorous growth during early development stages. The plant rapidly develops from the cotyledon stage, forming a strong and healthy structure. For successful cultivation, intensive feeding and careful monitoring of soil structure and nutrient regime are required, as the hybrid belongs to an intensive cultivation type and responds well to agronomic practices. The watermelon is resistant to anthracnose and has moderate resistance to diseases Fon:0,1/Co:1, enhancing its reliability in cultivation.

Troya F1 is suitable for cultivation both in open ground and under various types of plastic coverings, including greenhouses and mulching. The recommended planting density is 6-8 thousand seeds per hectare. Ripe fruits are versatile in use: they can be consumed fresh, used for making juices and pickling. Due to its characteristics and adaptability, watermelon Troya F1 is an excellent choice for farmers and gardeners aiming to obtain an early and high-quality harvest.
