Watermelon Monro

Monro watermelon is an early-maturing hybrid with oval-shaped fruits, maturing in 55-60 days after transplanting seedlings. The plant exhibits strong development from the beginning of the vegetative period and high productivity, making it suitable for cultivation both in open fields and under cover. Yield reaches 80 tons per hectare, making this hybrid attractive for commercial cultivation.

Monro watermelon fruits weigh between 10 and 12 kg, with maximum weight reaching up to 18 kg. The flesh is bright red, dense, and has a good internal structure. One of the key features of this hybrid is its high sugar content (Brix 11), providing a rich and sweet taste. Due to these qualities, the watermelon is suitable for fresh consumption, as well as for canning, processing, pickling, and juice production.
