Macho watermelon fruits are large, weighing from 10 to 13 kg, and are characterized by an oval-round or elongated shape with an attractive light green rind decorated with dark green stripes. The flesh is intensely red, dense, and crisp, with a high sugar content, ensuring excellent taste qualities. The rind is thin but very tough, which contributes to high transportability and preservation of watermelons during transportation.
The Macho hybrid is resistant to diseases such as fusarium and anthracnose, which significantly facilitates care and increases crop reliability.
