Watermelon Fire Ball

Watermelon Fire Ball F1 — an ultra-early, high-yielding hybrid from the Japanese brand Sakata, intended for cultivation in open ground using seedling method. The vegetation period is 55-60 days after transplanting, enabling early harvest. The plant exhibits vigorous growth, dense foliage, and active fruit set, but requires ample space; therefore, it is recommended to plant no more than 8-10 thousand plants per hectare. The hybrid responds well to regular moderate watering and fertilization, and shows resistance to diseases such as anthracnose and fusarium. Watermelon Fire Ball fruits have a round shape and dark green skin, which is strong and resistant to internal cracking, making them suitable for transportation. Average fruit weight ranges from 5 to 10 kilograms, most commonly 6-9 kg. The flesh is bright red, with high quality and rich sweet taste, retained even under varying climatic conditions. Watermelon Fire Ball seeds are available in various package weights, allowing selection of optimal planting quantity. Due to its characteristics and reliability, this hybrid is an excellent choice for farmers and gardeners aiming to obtain early, stable yields of tasty and transportable watermelons.
