A vigorous variety, requiring no special conditions. Grows well on light, deep soils. Highly resistant to winter frosts, tolerating temperatures down to -32°C and even -35°C without significant damage. Resistance to anthracnose (marsoniosis) is rated as high.
Bud break occurs approximately in mid-April. Flowering type is protandrous, with a difference of 2-5 days. Bears fruit abundantly and regularly, with nuts arranged in clusters of 2-3 on a long peduncle.
Fruit set type — terminal — intermediate from the terminal bud and 1-2 lateral buds. Nuts are above average size, uniform, oval-elongated in shape, with smooth surface, thin shell that splits easily, and attractive appearance. Kernel is full, well-fills the nut cavity, is extracted whole, and also has an attractive appearance. Variety released in 2005.
Tree is large, reaching 10.5 m in height at 30 years old, looks majestic. Leaves are abundant, bright green, elliptical. Trunk is straight, cylindrical.
Crown — broad-pyramidal, medium density. Structural branches — thick, strong, with not very large branching angles, branched at the periphery, crown gray. One-year shoots — relatively thin, 40-45 cm in length, bright brown color, with small longitudinal ridges. Male inflorescences — medium thickness, 10-14 cm in length.
Female flowers — grouped in clusters of 1-3 on a relatively long, thin pedicel.
Fruit is medium or above average size. Length — 43.2 mm, Width — 33.1 mm, Thickness — 34.6 mm, mass of one nut — 11.3 ± 0.72 g, uniformity — CV=17%.
Shape — oval-elongated, with a protruding pistil tip, rounded base.
Endocarp — thin, 1.3 mm in thickness, splits easily, smooth surface, sutures of the valves well fused, barely visible, peduncular aperture small, well covered by dried conducting bundles, yellow-brown color.
Kernel — full, low-ribbed, easily extracted whole, constitutes 50.0% of nut mass, pleasant taste, attractive, contains 70.0% crude fat, 15.9% protein, 4.72% carbohydrates, kernel skin thin, light brown-yellow color.
Ripens — September 15-20. Advantages — good performance for major economically valuable traits.
