BARYNYA

The Barynya cherry variety is a medium-sized tree with a semi-erect crown of medium density. This variety is characterized by medium growth strength and forms fruit bodies on bouquet shoots. The tree begins to bear fruit in the 4th-5th year after planting and is characterized by mass flowering in medium terms. Thanks to its winter hardiness and resistance to moniliosis and cockle, Barynya withstands adverse weather conditions well, making it a reliable choice for cultivation.

Barynya cherry fruits have a medium mass of about 7.2 grams, maximum - up to 8.4 grams. They have a kidney shape with a deepened base and a medium depression. The main color of the fruits is yellow with covering light red or pinkish-red coloring, the skin is smooth and bare. The flesh is sun yellow, medium density, very juicy and cartilaginous, with a light yellow juice. The stone is free, oval and medium size. The taste of the fruits is sweet, which is confirmed by a high tasting rating of 4.6 points. Barynya cherry is intended for fresh consumption and has medium transportability.

The yield of the variety reaches about 110.7 centners per hectare or 17.6 kilograms per one tree in the presence of pollinators. The variety is drought-resistant and suitable for cultivation in various climatic conditions. Barynya seedlings are supplied with a packaged root system and require storage at a temperature of 0 to +2°C until planting. The fruits ripen in the first decade of July, which allows obtaining an early crop of tasty and quality cherries.
