Description FRINGID APeldoorn
Tulip Apeldoorn is a representative of the Darwin hybrid group, known for its large goblet-shaped buds and bright red-purple color. The plant reaches a height of 60–80 cm, with flower diameters exceeding 10 cm, making it one of the most noticeable representatives of its class. Thanks to such size and rich shade, the tulip easily stands out even from the background of a flower bed where usually tall flowers are placed.

The variety is distinguished by an early and prolonged blooming period – the first buds appear immediately after the start of spring, and the beauty of the flowers is preserved until the end of March–April. This makes Apeldoorn an ideal choice for creating bright compositions at the beginning of the season. The tulip also shows high resistance to insects and diseases, and its flowers retain freshness for a long time even after cutting, which allows them to be used in bouquets.

For successful cultivation, it is necessary to observe several simple rules: plant bulbs in September–early October on a flat site with drained soil of neutral or slightly acidic reaction; planting depth – 10 cm, distance between plants not less than 20 cm. Regular feeding with complex fertilizers and moderate watering during the growing season promote active growth of daughter bulbs and ensure rich flowering every year. Tulip Apeldoorn combines perfectly with other tall tulips of different shades, creating harmonious and expressive flower beds.
