Tulip Yellow Flight

Engineering Specs of Yellow Flight

The classification of Yellow Flight within the Triumph group dictates its structural biology. This hybrid, derived from crossing early varieties with Darwin hybrids, inherits a robust, rigid stem that resists lodging under various environmental stresses. For professional growers, this translates into predictable yield and reduced post-harvest losses due to physical damage.

Agronomic Performance Metrics

• Blooming Schedule: Classified as a late-flowering variety. The extended vegetative phase necessitates precise thermal management in greenhouse environments to ensure optimal bud development and synchronized maturation.
• Stem Morphology: The short stature is a functional asset. A low-profile stem minimizes the leverage effect, making the plants highly resistant to breakage during logistics and handling.
• Coloration and Structure: The vibrant yellow hue is the result of concentrated carotenoid pigments. The classic goblet shape maintains its architectural integrity throughout the vase life, a key requirement for high-end floral markets.

Yellow Flight is engineered for applications where space management is paramount. Its compact habit allows for high-density planting schemes without compromising light penetration, making it an efficient choice for professional forcing operations that require uniformity and durability.
