First Bloom

Feijoa cultivar 'First Bloom' is an evergreen exotic tree, grown as a houseplant in Ukraine, reaching up to 2.5 meters in height. This plant begins fruiting in its fourth year, with fruits forming on current-year shoots. The fruits have a tangy-sweet flavor reminiscent of both pineapple and raspberry, and are distinguished by their vibrant aroma. In shape, they resemble large blackberries and weigh between 90 to 120 grams.

Feijoa fruits are rich in vitamins C, B, E, and P, and contain significant amounts of iodine compounds, making them beneficial for preventing thyroid disorders and atherosclerosis. Due to their nutritional properties, Feijoa cultivar 'First Bloom' is not only decorative but also beneficial.

For successful cultivation and regular fruiting, Feijoa requires sufficient light and regular watering. Yield per plant ranges from 3 to 5 kilograms. Seedlings of this cultivar are available for purchase, enabling enthusiasts of exotic plants to grow Feijoa at home.
