Carnation RAINFLOW

Breeding Heritage and Cultivar Profile

The «Raduga» carnation is a product of extensive breeding work by the Federal Scientific Center for Vegetable Growing. Developed by Levko Gennadij Dmitrievich and Turushina Valentina Mikhailovna, this cultivar has established itself as a benchmark for reliability and aesthetic versatility. Unlike many foreign hybrids, «Raduga» is specifically optimized for local climatic conditions, making it a predictable and high-performing option for both open-field cultivation and protected greenhouse environments.

Agronomic Specifications

• Plant Height: 40–60 cm, providing the ideal structural integrity for commercial-grade floral arrangements.
• Color Spectrum: The series features a vibrant range, including pure white, delicate pink, rich red, and deep purple blooms.
• Versatility: With high decorative value and stem strength, the cultivar is suited for professional cut flower production and landscape design applications, ranging from floral borders to integrated garden compositions.

The reputation of this cultivar is built on the stability of its habit: the plants maintain their characteristic height and color intensity even during seasonal temperature fluctuations. The inherent resistance to common cultural diseases, introduced during the selection process, significantly reduces the need for extensive chemical intervention, making «Raduga» an economically sound choice for commercial flower producers seeking consistency and quality.
