Tulip Yonina

Elegance and Resilience in Your Garden

The Lily-flowered tulip variety 'Ьонина' (Yonina) is the choice for those who value refined forms without compromising plant hardiness. The distinctive feature of this variety lies in its exquisite petals, which elegantly curve outwards, resembling lily buds. The delicate white-pink coloring makes it a versatile solution for both graceful landscape arrangements and spring bouquets.

Agronomic Potential and Resistance

The key advantage of 'Yonina' is its robust immunity. Breeders have prioritized overcoming the most common "enemies" of bulbous plants:

• Powdery Mildew: The variety shows high resistance, which is critical in conditions of fluctuating humidity.
• Fusarium Wilt: 'Yonina' is significantly less susceptible to this pathogen compared to many traditional varieties.
• Anthracnose: The plant's defensive mechanisms allow it to maintain foliage aesthetic even under unfavorable weather conditions.

The low height of the plant is a significant advantage for border edging, foreground alpine slides, and container gardening. Its short stature ensures high resistance of flower stems to strong winds, which often damage taller varieties during the active blooming period.

Who is this variety for?

'Yonina' is an optimal purchase for home gardeners seeking low-maintenance plants that do not require frequent fungicide treatments. The variety is also of interest to landscape designers working on low-maintenance projects. Despite the obvious pros, it is important to note that this mid-season tulip requires a smart location choice: in excessive shade, the coloring may lose its contrast, so it performs best in well-lit areas with well-drained soil.
