Tulip Sweet Harmony

Technical Potential of Sweet Harmony

The Sweet Harmony tulip belongs to the Single Late class. Its architectural design is optimized for maximum visual impact at the end of the spring season, when most other bulbous plants are completing their cycle. The plant features a robust flower stem, ensuring a vertical orientation even under significant wind loads.

Color Palette and Morphology

The key feature of Sweet Harmony is its bicolored petal pattern. The primary lemon-yellow tone transitions smoothly into a pure white edge, creating a luminous effect. The goblet-shaped bud maintains its integrity throughout all flowering stages, which is critical for both landscape design and cut flower production: the bloom does not lose its shape under direct sunlight.

Biological Defense

The breeding of this hybrid focuses on minimizing risks for both commercial and home growers. Genetic resistance to Fusarium wilt allows for planting bulbs in areas with a historically high infection pressure without risking population density losses. Furthermore, resistance to powdery mildew and Watermelon Mosaic Virus (WMV) significantly reduces the need for preventive fungicide applications, thereby lowering operational costs.

• Plant Type: Single Late Tulip.
• Height: High class (an excellent choice for the back of the border).
• Adaptability: High resistance to key pathogens (Fusarium, powdery mildew, WMV).
• Usage: Ideally suited for late spring landscaping and commercial cut flowers due to the bud's durability.
