The plant "ANNA" belongs to the Vetch family and has the Latin name Lathyrus tingitanus L., code 9553701, developed by the Federal Vegetable Science Center. The plant reaches a height of 350–380 cm, and the flower stalk is strong, making it suitable for vertical greening.
The variety's flowers are colored in a violet-carmine shade and usually form one or two per each flower stalk. There is no aroma, however, the flowering duration is 105 days – from June to September, which ensures a long-lasting decorative effect. The period from sowing to the beginning of flowering is about 75 days.
The variety is distinguished by its resistance to diseases and pests, as well as good cold hardiness. However, it does not tolerate excess moisture, so when growing, it is necessary to control the watering level. It is recommended to start planting via seedlings from mid-March to achieve optimal growth and flowering.
