Tulip Salvo

Triumph Class Elegance: Why Professionals Choose Salvo

The Salvo tulip variety occupies a solid niche in the late-blooming Triumph group. This selection is tailored for those who value the balance between aesthetic sophistication and predictable agrotechnics. Its signature feature is the recognizable two-tone petal coloration, where delicate pink transitions into crisp white, creating a glowing effect highly prized in both landscape design and commercial floristry.

Agronomic Profile and Resistance

For professional cultivation, the stress resistance of a variety is critical. Salvo demonstrates excellent resilience against pathogens that frequently cause losses in bulbous crops:

• High immunity to white mold, preventing root system damage.
• Resistance to downy mildew (peronosporosis), allowing the plant to retain foliage quality throughout the growing season.
• Immunity to phomopsis and phoma, fungal diseases typical in waterlogged soils.
• Protection against sunflower rust, ensuring healthy stands when cultivated in open fields.

The medium height of the flower stem makes this variety perfect for cut flowers and garden beds — the plant holds its bloom firmly, resisting drooping even during heavy precipitation. Thanks to its late blooming cycle, Salvo extends the decorative season well after earlier varieties have completed their cycle.

Market Positioning

Salvo represents the «golden mean» of the market. It does not require extreme growing conditions, yet it consistently produces high-quality commercial yields. Unlike more temperamental varieties intended for greenhouse forcing, it adapts perfectly to open-ground conditions, making it a favorite among cut-flower growers and municipal landscapers.
