Utro Bakchara is a perennial phlox with a distinct lilac-pink color and a white eye, attracting attention with its rich coloring and strong aroma. Bushes reach heights from 50 to 150 cm, while inflorescences with a diameter of about 4.4 cm form dense pyramidal structures measuring approximately 16×13 cm. Blooming begins in late July and lasts 45–52 days, making the plant ideal for extending the garden's flowering period.
Phlox Utro Bakchara is distinguished by high resistance to adverse weather conditions and frost, as well as relative ease of care. It prefers fertile loamy soils with neutral or slightly acidic pH, but can grow in both sunny and semi-shaded areas. For optimal growth, nitrogen fertilization in spring and potassium-phosphorus preparations during flowering are recommended, along with mulching before winter.
This plant is excellent for cut flowers and bouquet arrangements due to its dense inflorescence and durability. Its resistance to diseases and pests makes it a suitable choice even for beginner gardeners. Reproduction is achieved by dividing the rhizome, which allows for quickly replenishing planting material and maintaining the decorative appearance of the area.
