Tulip Sally

Reliability for commercial spring production

The «Sall» tulip, belonging to the classic «Triumph» class, is a top choice for professional greenhouse growers focused on spring demand. Its biological characteristics ensure high-quality cut flowers, meeting the strict requirements of retail distribution networks.

Disease resistance and farm economics

One of the main advantages of the «Sall» hybrid is its innate resistance to pathogens, which significantly reduces the need for frequent chemical intervention. In high-humidity environments, this hybrid shows strong immunity against:

• White rot (Sclerotinia);
• Downy mildew (Peronospora);
• Phomopsis and Phoma leaf blight.

By minimizing the risk of fungal outbreaks, farmers can optimize their crop protection programs and maintain the aesthetic quality of the blooms, which is critical for long-distance transport and shelf life.

Field and greenhouse performance

With its mid-season blooming window and uniform height, «Sall» is well-adapted for conveyor-belt production cycles. It requires minimal use of growth regulators, maintaining a sturdy stem and a balanced plant structure. The vibrant yellow color of the petals is highly marketable, making it a reliable crop for both monotype batches and festive floral arrangements. For growers involved in bulb multiplication, this hybrid offers a predictable multiplication rate and high-quality bulb size, ensuring a sustainable cycle for future seasons.
