Phlox «Victoria» is a large-flowered variety of domestic breeding, developed by V.V. Korchagin and V.G. Borisova in 2011. The plant reaches a height of 80–90 cm during flowering, which occurs from July to August. The flowers are purple-violet or fuchsia, about 4 cm in diameter, with an oval-conical inflorescence, a small dark eye, and slightly wavy petals.
The «Victoria» bush is distinguished by its strength and frost resistance. It grows rapidly, forming dense stems with spike-like inflorescences at the tips. The plant tolerates direct sunlight well and is not afraid of dew, though it may show slight whitening in the center of the flower.
For successful growth, «Victoria» requires fertile loamy or sandy soil with acidity from slightly acidic to neutral. The variety is drought-resistant and is perfectly suited for greening walls, fences, as well as in flowerbed compositions and as a source of cuttings for floral works. Thanks to its winter hardiness and decorative appearance, it becomes a popular choice for both single and group plantings.
