Tulip Rosy Wings

Operational efficiency of 'Ros Wings' in tulip production

For large-scale floral production, selecting a variety that combines visual appeal with rugged field performance is essential. The 'Ros Wings' tulip, a representative of the Triumph class, is widely favored by professional growers for its predictable development cycle and high-quality cut stem production. Its distinct pink petals and tall stature make it a versatile asset for both commercial spring forcing and high-end landscape projects.

Resilience against common pathogens

The primary economic advantage of 'Ros Wings' lies in its reduced susceptibility to common bulb and foliar diseases. In high-density planting environments, where moisture management is challenging, this variety offers robust resistance to:

• White and gray rot (Botrytis);
• Peronospora;
• Phomopsis and Phoma leaf spots.

By integrating 'Ros Wings' into your crop rotation, you can significantly lower the overhead costs associated with intensive fungicide programs, while maintaining a high percentage of marketable yield.

Cultivation best practices

The mid-season bloom timing of 'Ros Wings' allows for a structured marketing strategy, bridging the gap between early-season and late-season cultivars. Its tall, strong stems provide excellent uniformity, which is critical for automated grading and efficient transportation. When planning the production cycle, ensure consistent soil aeration; while the hybrid is naturally resistant to fungal decays, maintaining proper drainage is key to maximizing the lifespan of the bulbs. Whether for professional cut-flower supplies or public park maintenance, 'Ros Wings' offers the consistency required for professional agricultural outcomes.
