Tulip Rembrandt's Favorite

Operational Profile of Rembrandt's Favourite

As a member of the Triumph class, Rembrandt's Favourite is engineered for performance in both greenhouse and field conditions. The plant stands at an average height, featuring a rigid, sturdy stem that resists lodging during spring storms, eliminating the need for labor-intensive support grids.

Maintenance and Cultivation Standards

The aesthetic appeal lies in its distinct lilac-and-white pattern. From an operator’s perspective, this variety offers a predictable lifecycle and consistent quality control. Key cultivation points:

• Bloom Timing: Mid-season variety, ideal for staging sales or aligning with varied floral production calendars.
• Post-Harvest Durability: The stems show excellent turgor retention, reducing losses during transport and storage in floral coolers.
• Nutrient Management: The variety is responsive to balanced NPK ratios. Avoid nitrogen over-application, as it encourages excessive stem elongation, compromising the plant's structural integrity.

Planting density should be managed to maintain adequate airflow around the foliage, which is the best defense against botrytis and other common bulb-related pathogens. For growers seeking a reliable, low-maintenance variety that delivers consistent visual impact, this hybrid is a workhorse of the Triumph group, combining robustness with a premium aesthetic.
