Tulip Pink Supreme

Market Position and Breeding

Pink Supreme belongs to the Single Late tulip class, a category favored by commercial growers for its predictable performance and classic elegance. This variety has established a strong reputation due to its genetic robustness, particularly its resilience against major tulip pathogens, including Fusarium wilt, Verticillium wilt, Tobacco mosaic virus, and Cladosporium. For professional producers, this biological hardiness translates into lower production risks and more consistent harvest quality.

Agronomic Characteristics

With an average height that balances aesthetic appeal with structural integrity, Pink Supreme thrives in both open fields and controlled environments. The petal structure is characterized by a soft, refined pink hue that remains stable throughout the late-blooming season. As one of the later varieties to hit the market, it is essential for extending the cut-flower sales window.

• Disease Resistance: High natural tolerance to complex soil-borne and viral infections.
• Crop Utility: Excellent for cut-flower production, floral arrangements, and professional landscape design.
• Growth Habit: Medium height with strong stems that withstand wind and weather stress.

Choosing Pink Supreme is a strategy centered on reliability. Its strong immune profile reduces the need for intensive fungicide applications, making it a pragmatic choice for growers prioritizing both efficiency and flower quality.
