Tulip Fortune

A Benchmark for Mid-Season Blooms

The 'Fortuna' tulip is a distinguished member of the 'Triumph' class, a group that has long dominated the horticultural market due to its robust stem strength and classic, elegant goblet shape. Designed for those who value both aesthetics and predictability, 'Fortuna' represents a balanced genetic choice for mid-season garden performance.

Visual Impact

The most striking feature of 'Fortuna' is its vivid bi-color presentation. The interaction between the red and white segments creates a sharp contrast that ensures the bloom remains a focal point in any landscape or bouquet. Its average plant height makes it highly versatile, suitable for both border planting and uniform greenhouse production.

Agronomic Reliability

In commercial bulb production, longevity and health are paramount. 'Fortuna' is recognized for its defensive traits, showing significant resilience against common bulb-related pathogens:

• High resistance to Anthracnose and Peronospora.
• Strong tolerance to root rots and Fusarium wilt, ensuring a higher survival rate in the field.
• Low susceptibility to Powdery Mildew, maintaining foliage health even during humid spring cycles.

By minimizing the risk of fungal outbreaks, 'Fortuna' allows growers to optimize maintenance cycles, making it a reliable and profitable option for both intensive farming and professional landscape projects.
