Tulip Ego Parrot

Eccentricity in your garden: why professionals choose Ego Parrot

Parrot tulips are traditionally considered the elite of the floral market, and Ego Parrot is a striking representative of this segment. Unlike classic goblet-shaped varieties, this hybrid draws attention with its ruffled petals, which create the effect of exotic plumage. Deep red tones transitioning to fiery orange make it a centerpiece for any landscape composition.

Agrotechnical advantages

The main trump card of Ego Parrot is not just aesthetics, but exceptional resilience for this class. Breeding has focused on eliminating the weaknesses characteristic of decorative tulips. The plant demonstrates solid resistance to:

• Verticillium wilt;
• Fusarium wilt;
• Tomato mosaic virus;
• Cladosporiosis.

This makes the variety a profitable acquisition for both private collectors and commercial cut-flower growers. The medium stem height provides excellent wind resistance, preventing lodging even during heavy rainfall during the flowering season.

Ego Parrot's market position

Belonging to mid-season blooming varieties, this tulip perfectly fills the gap between early simple and late double forms. Its reputation as an "unpretentious exotic" has been cemented by its predictable performance across various climate zones. In professional floriculture, Ego Parrot is valued for its petal density, which allows the flower to maintain its commercial appeal for a long time after cutting, which is critical for logistics and retail.
