Aster LYUBKA

Breeding Heritage and Specialization

The annual aster variety 'Lyubka' is the result of extensive breeding work by the Federal Scientific Center for Vegetable Production. Officially registered in the State Register, this variety was developed by a team of breeders including A. S. Kornilov and N. V. Lapina. Unlike complex commercial hybrids intended primarily for industrial flower production, 'Lyubka' was designed as a high-quality ornamental plant specifically for landscape gardening.

Agrotechnical Profile

This variety belongs to the group of classic annuals. Lacking winter hardiness, its life cycle is contained within a single growing season. Its primary purpose is the decoration of flowerbeds, floral arrangements, and border planting. The plant is well-adapted to the climatic conditions of the region, showing reliable performance when grown via the transplant method.
