Tulip Daylight

A Head Start for Your Garden

The Kaufmanniana tulip 'Daylight' is the go-to choice for those who value early spring color. As a representative of the early-blooming class, this variety delivers intense red petals shortly after the frost recedes. For a gardener, this means immediate visual gratification without the long wait associated with later-blooming varieties.

Low Maintenance and Disease Resistance

The primary appeal of the 'Daylight' tulip is its resilience. Maintaining a garden can be resource-intensive, but this hybrid simplifies the process with its built-in resistance to common fungal pathogens, including downy mildew (peronospora), phomopsis, phoma, and rust. This natural durability translates to lower operational costs and less time spent on preventative spraying.

Compact and Reliable Performance

The low-growth habit of 'Daylight' is a distinct advantage for maintenance. Because the plants are naturally short, they are immune to wind damage and do not require staking, supports, or complex framing. This makes them perfectly suited for rock gardens, container planting, or the very front of your flower beds. If you are looking for a reliable, low-effort tulip that holds up well in adverse spring weather, this variety provides a predictable and robust return on your investment.
