Description White Sea
Astra WHITE SEA is a plant characterized by high plasticity and adaptability to various growing conditions. This species is widely distributed in the tidal zones of marine waters, where its leaves possess stable anatomical and morphological characteristics, such as leaf thickness, cell size of assimilating tissues, and chloroplast count. Meanwhile, leaf area, stomatal area, and cell volume vary, enabling the plant to successfully develop across a wide spectrum of ecotopes typical of coastal ecosystems of the White Sea.

Astra WHITE SEA is a perennial plant reaching heights from 30 to 65 cm, preferring sunny locations but capable of withstanding partial shade. The plant is resistant to adverse weather conditions, pests, and diseases, making it low-maintenance in care. The flowers are large, a rich pink color, reaching a diameter of 8-10 cm, and stay fresh in water for 5 to 10 days, allowing the asters to be used in cut flower arrangements for group plantings, borders, and rock gardens.

Growing Astra WHITE SEA is possible via seedlings; seeds are sown in March-April in a greenhouse or cold frame, or directly in open ground in April-May at temperatures of 18-21 °C. Flowering begins in mid-August and continues until the onset of cold, making this plant attractive for long-term decorative greening.
