Aster NOSTALGIA

Focus on Aesthetics and Durability

When cultivating the 'Nostalgia' aster, the priority is predictable results. This variety, developed by the Federal Research Center for Vegetable Growing (FGBNU FNTsO), requires minimal maintenance while maintaining high aesthetic standards. For plot operators, it is crucial that the plant reaches 80–100 cm in height: this is the optimal parameter for forming dense, visually rich flowerbeds that do not require frequent pruning or structural support.

Maintenance and Operational Efficiency

• Pathogen Defense: The breeding program focuses on fusarium resistance. In field conditions, this significantly reduces expenditure on fungicide treatments and minimizes the risk of losing marketable inventory due to wilting or root system failure.
• Bloom Profile: The peony-like flower form, with a diameter of 10–15 cm, ensures consistent market demand. A palette of white, red, and striking bi-color options provides the flexibility needed for diverse landscape designs.
• Versatility in Use: The variety is equally productive in open ground for landscaping and as a potted culture. When grown in containers, 'Nostalgia' follows a standard irrigation and fertilization schedule. With timely removal of spent blooms, the plant maintains its decorative appeal for the longest possible duration.

'Nostalgia' represents a commitment to professional reliability. The precise adherence to height specifications and high resistance to disease make this variety a highly technological asset for landscapers and commercial flower growers.
