Tulip Blackout

Midnight Aesthetics in the Floral Market

The Triumph tulip variety 'Blackout' has long established a reputation for having one of the deepest, most saturated color profiles in the market. Its near coal-black petals have become the gold standard for floral arrangements that demand a dramatic, premium edge. Unlike many other dark-pigmented varieties, 'Blackout' maintains consistent form even under high-intensity growing conditions.

Agricultural Performance

For professional producers, the main advantage of 'Blackout' is its robust resistance to common pathogens. The breeding of this hybrid has significantly mitigated risks during intensive cultivation:

• Phytosanitary Stability: The variety exhibits high resistance to anthracnose and fusarium wilt, minimizing losses during the growth phase.
• Fungal Immunity: Strong resistance to powdery mildew helps reduce the need for excessive fungicidal intervention.

Market Positioning

As a mid-season variety within the Triumph group, this tulip perfectly fills a gap in the spring market. With an optimal stem height and a dense, goblet-shaped bloom, it is a top choice for both commercial bouquet production and premium landscape design. The structural integrity of the 'Blackout' stem ensures excellent post-harvest transportability, making it a reliable favorite for long-distance distributors.
