Kharkivskiy Legin — this is a triticale variety recommended for sowing in the Polissia region. It was registered in 2008 and developed by the Institute of Plant Growing named after V.Ya. Yuryev of the Ukrainian Academy of Agricultural Sciences. This variety belongs to the mid-season group, making it an optimal choice for medium-term agrotechnical cycles.

The vegetation period of Kharkivskiy Legin is 95–100 days, and plant height ranges from 108–115 cm. These characteristics ensure good yield and adaptation to the climatic conditions of Polissia. The variety demonstrates high resistance to powdery and downy mildew, as well as to rust, significantly reducing the risk of yield losses due to diseases.

In addition, Kharkivskiy Legin shows tolerance to brown leaf rust and moderate resistance to leaf septoria.
