Tradescantia ANUTKA

Effective Greenery for Interiors and Gardens

The 'Anyutka' Tradescantia is a result of breeding work by the Federal Scientific Center for Vegetable Growing. This decorative foliage plant holds a solid place among classic indoor crops and adapts perfectly to open ground during the warmer months. The key feature of this variety is its harmonious proportions: at a height of 50–70 cm, it does not appear bulky, maintaining a lush green mass that serves as an ideal backdrop for brighter garden or indoor flowers.

Vegetation and Care Features

The flowering period of 'Anyutka' lasts from 90 to 120 days. This is a crucial metric for decorators: the plant maintains its visual appeal throughout almost the entire warm season. Unlike many other Tradescantia species, this variety demonstrates enviable structural stability. The green leaves are dense and handle humidity fluctuations well, making it optimal for greening balconies, verandas, and lounge areas.

• Advantages: Moderate dimensions (up to 70 cm), high decorative foliage, extended flowering cycle.
• Weaknesses: Like many in its species, it requires regular monitoring of the bush shape—if lighting is insufficient, the stems may stretch.
• Target Audience: The variety is designed for those who value predictability in breeding. It is suitable for both amateur gardeners and professional landscaping of summer terraces.

The variety was developed by renowned specialists, including E. G. Kolesnikova and E. A. Sytov, which guarantees the genetic purity of the planting material and excellent adaptability of the plant to various climatic conditions.
