Tomato Dimerosa F1 is an ultra-early, tall hybrid of indeterminate type, developed by the Dutch seed company Enza Zaden. The plant forms strong bushes up to 1.8 to 3 meters tall with short internodes, which promotes early fruiting. Bushes require staking and pinching, and are best grown in polyethylene greenhouses, ensuring stable fruit set throughout the entire fruiting period. Recommended planting density is 2.5-3 plants per square meter.
The fruits of tomato Dimerosa have a flat-round shape and an attractive pink color with a glossy skin. The average weight of each fruit is 200-220 grams. Tomatoes are characterized by high density, which ensures resistance to cracking and excellent transportability. The flavor is balanced, slightly sweet with a mild acidity, and a rich tomato aroma makes them versatile: suitable for fresh salads and juice preparation, as well as for pickling and preservation.
The hybrid exhibits high resistance to several diseases, including tomato mosaic virus (ToMV), fusarium and verticillium wilt, bronze virus, brown spot, and cladosporeiosis. It also shows moderate resistance to tomato leaf curl virus (TSWV) and yellow leaf curl virus (TYLCV). Due to these characteristics, tomato Dimerosa F1 is a reliable choice for greenhouse cultivation aimed at obtaining a stable and high-quality yield.
