Tomato Journey

Setting the Standard for Large-Fruited Tomato Production

The «Journey» (Джорней) tomato by Monsanto represents a legacy of agricultural engineering, firmly established in the professional vegetable market as a dependable indeterminate hybrid. Designed for growers who prioritize consistency and marketable size, this variety has stood the test of time, proving itself in commercial greenhouses where yield-per-hectare and transportability are the ultimate metrics of success.

Agronomic Profile and Performance

With a maturation cycle of 90–100 days, this mid-early hybrid fits perfectly into intensive production schedules. Being an indeterminate type, it requires disciplined vine management and trellising, which allows it to express its full genetic potential under controlled environments. The focus of this variety is clearly on the 'beef' segment, delivering large, uniform fruits that meet the strict requirements of modern supply chains.

• Fruit Weight: Consistently exceeds 200 grams, ensuring high commercial value.
• Durability: Known for excellent structural integrity, making the fruits resistant to handling and transit damage.
• Adaptability: Performs reliably under professional greenhouse conditions, showing steady development across various microclimates.

Why Choose 'Journey'?

In a market often swayed by seasonal trends, the 'Journey' tomato remains a cornerstone for many operations because it removes the guesswork from production. Its reputation is built on reliability — it is a variety that responds predictably to nutrient inputs and irrigation management. For growers looking to minimize yield volatility while maintaining a premium product weight, this Monsanto hybrid offers a balanced approach that combines high output with professional-grade fruit quality.
