The tomato variety Señor is a medium-maturing indeterminate hybrid recommended for cultivation in plastic greenhouses. The vegetative period lasts 110-115 days from seedlings to fruiting. To obtain high-quality seedlings, sowing is carried out at the end of February – beginning of March with mandatory transplanting at the stage of the first true leaf and supplemental lighting during the growing period. Seedlings are transplanted into greenhouses at the end of April, when plants reach an age of 50-55 days. For proper plant shaping, support and training into a single stem are required, along with pinching off suckers and lower leaves, and topping at the end of the growing season. The fruits of tomato Señor have round or heart-shaped form, smooth surface, and red color. Fruit weight varies from 63 to 250 grams, making them versatile for various uses. They are excellent for preparing fresh summer salads, as well as for pickling, canning, and whole-fruit preservation. Yield per plant reaches 3.5-4.5 kg, and per square meter — 5.9-7.4 kg, indicating high productivity of the variety. Tomato Señor plants are tall, reaching about 300 cm in height, requiring mandatory support and proper care. The variety exhibits resistance to tobacco mosaic virus, cladosporiosis, and relatively high resistance to phytophthora, ensuring reliable cultivation under various climatic conditions. Thanks to these characteristics, tomato Señor is an excellent choice for greenhouse cultivation and provides a stable, high-quality yield.
