Sanpirlo F1 is a breeding product from the Dutch company Rijk Zwaan, officially registered in Ukraine in 2026. Its indeterminate growth habit, combined with moderate vigor, makes this hybrid predictable and easy to manage: the plant is not prone to excessive vegetative growth, which is critical for maintaining microclimate control in greenhouses.

Performance Under Stress

One of the key features of Sanpirlo is its response to temperature fluctuations. Due to the moderate intensity of green leaf coloration and their semi-erect position, the hybrid effectively regulates transpiration. In conditions of heat and water stress, the plant demonstrates high fruit-setting stability: the absence of first-truss fasciation and weak stigma pubescence minimize the risk of flower abortion during overheating.

Resistance and Fruit Quality

The hybrid produces round fruits with a very small scar, ensuring an impeccable market appearance. An important aspect for agronomists is the absence of a "green shoulder" before ripening, which guarantees uniform coloration without the need for additional growth regulators. The thin pericarp and low number of locules (2-3) indicate that Sanpirlo is optimized for producing firm, high-quality fruit with excellent flavor profiles.
