Tomato Rebelski

Stability and Adaptability in Every Plant

The 'Rebelski' tomato by Monsanto is a strategic choice for professional growers focusing on large-scale greenhouse production. In the competitive segment of indeterminate tomatoes, this hybrid distinguishes itself primarily through remarkable adaptability. While many high-yield varieties demand perfect climate control, 'Rebelski' is known for its resilience and ability to maintain consistent production even under challenging environmental conditions.

Plant Health as the Foundation of Profit

One of the key competitive advantages of 'Rebelski' is its comprehensive genetic resistance package. Growers choosing this hybrid effectively insure their crops against the most devastating threats in greenhouse cultivation:

• Absolute resistance to Tobacco Mosaic Virus and various other viral plant diseases.
• High tolerance to soil-borne pathogens, including Fusarium wilt and Verticillium wilt.
• Reduced risk of rot, which is crucial for maintaining the marketability of high-quality produce.
• Strong resistance to Cladosporium (leaf mold), reducing the need for intensive fungicide applications.

Yield Performance

With an impressive yield potential of 160–190 tons per hectare, 'Rebelski' stands out as one of the most efficient choices in its category. As a late-maturing hybrid (120–130 days), it requires patience, but the final output justifies the investment. The variety is characterized by its versatile fruit size, ranging from small (20-40g) to medium (80-100g) and large (over 200g) specimens. Its flat-round and heart-shaped fruits, available in both red and pink, are highly valued in the retail sector for their appearance and superior post-harvest life.

Who is it for?

'Rebelski' is specifically engineered for large-scale agricultural holdings and professional greenhouse complexes. Its vigorous root system and energetic growth habit require proper trellising and pruning, but in return, it provides a stable and reliable harvest of excellent quality. This is not a hobbyist's tomato; it is a business tool designed for those who demand maximum performance and consistency from every square meter of their facility.
