PUSHNYA KUPCHISHKA

Tomato Pushnya Kupchiшка is a medium-maturing indeterminate hybrid intended for cultivation both in open ground and in protected conditions, including film and winter greenhouses. The plant is tall, reaching up to 1.8 meters, requiring a two-stem bush formation with mandatory pinching of suckers and topping in August for optimal development. Sowing seeds is recommended in early March, followed by transplanting and fertilization, while planting in the permanent location should be done at the end of April or beginning of May according to the 40x70 cm scheme.

The fruits of tomato Pushnya Kupchiшка are large, weighing 200–250 grams, flat-round in shape with intense red coloration and dense, fleshy texture. They possess excellent taste qualities, sweet flesh, and a wonderful aroma, making them an ideal choice for fresh consumption, home cooking, as well as processing into juices and tomato products. The fruits are low-seeded and slightly ribbed, further enhancing their appeal.

The hybrid is characterized by high yield and prolonged fruiting: under film, yield reaches 7.8 kg per square meter, while in winter greenhouses it can reach up to 35–36 kg per square meter. For successful cultivation, regular root watering with a norm of 10 liters per square meter until fruiting begins and 20 liters during fruiting, as well as mineral fertilizer applications every two weeks, are recommended. In hot weather, bottom ventilation of greenhouses is beneficial for improving fruit set.
