RIGONDA

Tomato Rigonda is a medium-early determinate variety characterized by high yield and good growth vigor. The plant is medium-sized and robust, suitable for cultivation both in open ground and in plastic greenhouses. For early harvest, it is recommended to grow seedlings, transplanting them after the threat of late frosts with a spacing of about 50 cm between plants. Seeds are sown in March at a depth of 2-3 cm, and transplanting is carried out at the stage of 1-2 true leaves. Seedlings are fertilized 2-3 times with complete fertilizer and acclimatized 7-10 days before transplanting.

The fruits of tomato Rigonda have a roundish or oval shape, bright red color, and a dense, smooth skin. The average weight of the fruits ranges from 120 to 160 grams; they are juicy and aromatic, making them versatile for fresh consumption, culinary use, and processing. The variety is distinguished by high flavor qualities and is suitable for both mechanical and manual harvesting.

Rigonda prefers light, fertile soils and responds positively to fertilization. The crop is highly dependent on warmth and light, which should be considered when selecting a growing location. The vegetation period is approximately 60-65 days from germination to technical fruit maturity. Due to its resistance to certain diseases and high market yield, this variety is popular among vegetable growers.
