Tomato Pinky Lady F1

Standard for Pink Tomatoes: Monsanto's Pink Lady F1

The Pink Lady F1 tomato, developed by Monsanto, represents a benchmark in commercial vegetable production. This indeterminate hybrid is widely recognized for its consistent output and reliability in greenhouse conditions, making it a cornerstone for growers aiming for high-quality, early-season pink tomato production.

Agronomic Performance and Disease Resistance

What sets Pink Lady F1 apart is its robust genetic profile, specifically developed to withstand the pressures of modern farming. The variety exhibits high resistance to Fusarium wilt and gray leaf spot. Furthermore, it shows strong defense mechanisms against early blight (Alternaria), Verticillium wilt, Mycosphaerella, and brown spot, significantly reducing the necessity for intensive fungicide applications.

Marketability and Yield Potential

Designed for the fresh produce market, the Pink Lady F1 produces large, flat-round pink tomatoes consistently weighing over 200 grams. A key advantage for commercial logistics is the fruit's firmness and shelf life, which lasts up to 10 days post-harvest, ensuring high quality during transport. With yield potential exceeding 190 tons per hectare, it remains a top choice for commercial growers supplying large-scale retailers.
