Tomato NORTHERN BEAUTY

Tomato Northern Beauty is a medium-early indeterminate variety with a fruit ripening period from 118 to 122 days after germination. The plant reaches a height of about 140 cm, has moderate leafiness, and requires staking and pruning. Flowers are simple with 5-6 fruits, contributing to good yield. Leaves are medium-sized, green, and the peduncle lacks a joint.

Fruits of tomato Northern Beauty have elongated-oval or pear-shaped forms with a conical tip, smooth surface, and thin skin. Fruit weight ranges from 62 to 140 g, they are juicy, sweet, and very tasty, with 2-6 chambers depending on the description. Color of ripe fruits varies from red-purple to pink. Due to its excellent taste, this variety is suitable for fresh consumption, as well as for pickling and canning.

The variety exhibits high resistance to various adverse factors: phytophthora, tobacco mosaic virus, fusarium, as well as to extreme weather conditions such as drought, heat, and cold. Yield ranges from 4.1 to 14 kg per square meter depending on growing conditions. Recommended for cultivation in open ground and under plastic covers; seeds are sown for seedlings in March.
