Tomato Sabelka — a medium-early indeterminate variety, intended for cultivation in greenhouses and under plastic coverings. The plant is tall and moderately leafy, with crinkled green leaves of medium and large size. The first flower cluster forms above the ninth leaf, and subsequent clusters appear every three leaves, promoting even fruiting. The variety is resistant to phytophthora, which simplifies care and increases yield reliability.
Tomato Sabelka fruits have a cylindrical, slightly ribbed shape with bright red coloration when fully ripe. Unripe fruits are green with a dark green spot at the stem. Fruit weight varies from 100 to 250 grams, depending on growing conditions, with 2-3 seed chambers and very thick, succulent walls, practically seedless. Due to these characteristics, tomatoes are suitable for both fresh consumption and whole-fruit canning.
The variety is recommended to be pinched back to 1-2 stems for optimal growth and yield, which amounts to approximately 5.9-6.8 kg per square meter. Tomatoes Sabelka have good flavor qualities, making them versatile for various culinary uses. Sowing for seedlings is recommended in early March, ensuring timely fruit ripening around day 120 after germination.
