Slavyanka

The Slavyanka tomato variety is medium-early and intended for salad and whole-fruit canning. The plant is indeterminate, medium-height, reaching 1.6-1.8 meters, with moderate leafiness and light-green medium to large leaves. Flowers are simple, the first forms above the ninth leaf, subsequent ones appear every three leaves. It is recommended to grow as a single stem with suckering and tying to a support, which promotes better development and yield.

The Slavyanka variety fruits have an egg-shaped form with a characteristic blossom end, smooth surface, and attractive pinkish-red color when fully ripe. Unripe fruits are green with a dark-green spot at the stem. The weight of one tomato is 80-90 grams, with 2-3 locules per fruit. The flavor qualities are good and excellent, making them suitable for fresh consumption as well as for whole-fruit canning.

The variety is characterized by high yield — up to 2 kg per plant or 5.9-6.6 kg per square meter. Fruit ripening occurs approximately on day 114 after emergence. Slavyanka is well adapted for cultivation in plastic greenhouses, unheated covers, and open ground, especially in southern regions. This tomato combines decorative appeal, ease of care, and high productivity, making it an excellent choice for gardeners and farmers.
