Tomato MULLEN ROUGE

Technical Specifications and Yield Performance

The 'Moulin Rouge' tomato is an indeterminate variety of Russian origin, engineered for high productivity in both greenhouse conditions and open fields. The core objective of the breeders, V. N. Dederko and his team, was to achieve ultra-early maturity while maintaining consistent fruit weight and quality.

Structural Features and Crop Management

• Maturation Cycle: Up to 90 days. This accelerated development is a critical factor for regions with limited growing seasons, allowing for rapid market entry.
• Plant Architecture: As an indeterminate type, it requires systematic pruning and staking. This vertical growth habit ensures optimal nutrient distribution to fruit clusters, resulting in uniform 150-200 gram tomatoes.
• Fruit Morphology: The classic round shape provides structural integrity and excellent transportability, while the deep red pigmentation indicates high lycopene content.

With a target yield of 70-100 tons per hectare, this variety is tailored for commercial producers who prioritize intensity and early-season profitability. The combination of rapid fruit set and resilience to environmental stressors makes 'Moulin Rouge' a highly efficient tool for professional cultivation. Achieving these yield figures requires precise adherence to fertilization and density protocols, making the variety a robust solution for intensive farming operations.
