BROWN COCKTAIL

Tomato Brown Cocktail is an early-maturing indeterminate hybrid with exceptionally beautiful and tasty cocktail-type fruits. Fruit production begins 80-85 days after germination, with the first flower cluster forming above the seventh leaf, and subsequent clusters appearing every one to two leaves. Plants have shortened internodes and are recommended for pruning into one or two stems for optimal growth. Inflorescences are simple, containing 8 to 10 round fruits weighing approximately 25-30 grams each.

The fruits of this tomato have a unique coloration: as they ripen, they develop a red-brown hue with green stripes and streaks, giving them an attractive appearance. The tomatoes are firm, with a very sweet and fruity flavor due to high sugar content. They are excellent for fresh consumption, as well as for drying, freezing, and whole-fruit canning. The hybrid is characterized by high fruit storability and excellent transportability.

The variety is resistant to several diseases, including tomato mosaic virus, fusarium and verticillium wilt, as well as nematodes, making it a reliable choice for cultivation both in open ground and in protected environments such as plastic greenhouses and covered beds. Yield reaches up to 16 kg per square meter in protected conditions and no less than 12 kg in open ground. It is important to avoid overwatering during fruit ripening to maintain fruit quality and yield.
