MIZO is an early-maturing tomato variety of Japanese selection, ripening in 94-95 days. The plant is indeterminate, reaching a height of 1.5 to 1.8 meters, and is characterized by moderate leafiness with a potato-type leaf. The fruits are pink, multi-chambered with thin skin, juicy, and have excellent taste. The weight of a single fruit can reach up to 300 grams. This variety is intended for salad use and is distinguished by high yield—up to 14 kg per square meter. A distinctive feature of potatoes with potato-type leaves is their low susceptibility to phytophthora, which increases plant resistance to diseases.
For complete nutrition and stimulation of growth of MIZO tomatoes, it is recommended to use the complex organic-mineral fertilizer SmartGrow TOMATO. It contains a high amount of humic and fulvic acids, as well as macro- and microelements required for solanaceous crops. The fertilizer contains 15 g/l fulvic acids, 80 g/l humic acids, 16.2 g/l nitrogen, 8.6 g/l phosphorus, 27 g/l potassium, and microelements, which promotes active growth and flowering of plants.
The fertilizer SmartGrow TOMATO is applied during the vegetative period at a rate of 25 ml per 10 liters of water, with an interval of 10-15 days. This approach ensures complete feeding of tomatoes, peppers, eggplants, and potatoes, improving their growth and increasing yield. Using this fertilizer in combination with the MIZO variety allows obtaining high-quality and tasty fruits with high productivity.
