Tomato HONEY DRAIN

A golden choice for the garden

The «Medoviy Naliv» tomato from the «Gavrish» seed company is a premium choice for gardeners who prioritize both visual appeal and a unique flavor profile. As an indeterminate variety, it offers high growth potential, making it a perfect fit for greenhouse cultivation where vertical space is managed effectively. The standout feature is, of course, its vibrant orange skin, which retains its color and integrity during processing, making it a favorite for gourmet preservation.

Key features and performance

• Flavor Profile: The flesh contains 3-4 chambers, providing a meaty consistency with a distinctively sweet, honey-like finish—a refreshing departure from standard acidic tomato varieties.
• Harvest Specifications: With an average weight of 150–200 grams and an elegant egg-like shape, these fruits are uniform in size, simplifying both harvesting and packing.
• Maturation: The 100–120 day ripening period ensures a steady yield throughout the mid-season, allowing for reliable harvest planning.

The primary advantage of «Medoviy Naliv» lies in its durability. Its firm skin ensures that the fruit handles transportation well, which is a major plus for those selling at markets. While it requires the standard care associated with indeterminate plants—namely staking and pruning—the effort is rewarded with high-quality produce that stands out in any display. This variety is ideal for those who value consistency and a non-traditional aesthetic in their vegetable garden. Unlike many modern hybrids that can be unpredictable, the «Gavrish» genetics offer a stable performance, making it a solid investment for both home gardeners and small-scale growers.
